Shortly after you hit STOP
Finished episode
A multicam-edited 4K video with leveled, mastered audio. Production-level, not a rough draft.
Video podcast studio
A small room built for one-on-one video podcasts that look sharp and sound incredible. A pro tech runs your session, the edit runs itself, and you leave with a 4K episode that’s ready to publish.
Our secret sauce
Our one-of-a-kind automated editing system builds your episode while you record. Shortly after you hit STOP, you get a production-level 4K cut: camera angles switched, levels cleaned up, audio mastered. No waiting a week for an editor.

Vertical clips cut by topic with AI, ready to post or fine-tune.
This is our own innovation. The edit knows who’s about to speak and switches a split second early, like a pro editor would.
Most auto-switchers cut after someone starts talking, so every cut lands late. Ours switches a split second before each line, the industry standard for edited shows.
When host and guest talk over each other, the edit holds the master shot that shows you both.
A silence that hangs plays on the wide angle too, so the moment reads naturally instead of stalling on one face.
What we never compromise on
A video podcast lives or dies on two things, so that’s where we put our money. Every session gets the same setup we use for our own shows.
Every session is filmed in 4K on Sony FX30 cinema cameras and similar bodies. No video add-on, no surprise line item.
Viewers will forgive a soft frame. They won’t forgive bad audio. So sound gets more of our attention than anything else in the room.
Real people, automated edit
Every session has a professional studio tech. What’s automated is the editing, so there’s no week-long wait for post-production.

FAQ
Everything about recording a video podcast at 512cast. Still curious? Just ask us.
Yes. Every session is recorded as a video podcast: 4K multicam on Sony FX30 cinema cameras plus studio-grade sound on Shure SM7B microphones.
We record horizontally in 4K. That gives us enough resolution to cut any format from the same footage, including vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

The edit switches to the master shot, the wide angle that shows you both. The same happens when a silence hangs for a while.
No. 4K multicam is included in every booking at no extra charge.
Shure SM7B broadcast microphones for both host and guest. Each voice is recorded on its own isolated track, then leveled and mastered for your finished episode.

Our studio is small, so we ask you to keep your group in the room to 3 people at most, host and guest included. A small crew keeps the room quiet, comfortable and the sound clean. The rest of your team can wait on our outdoor patio with benches: we’ll share a private livestream link, so they can watch the recording live from their phones.
Yes. A professional studio tech is on site for every session to set up mics, light and cameras and keep an eye on everything while you record. What is automated is the editing, so there is no waiting for post-production.
